Cantando have won awards at all the major Choral Festivals in Ireland.
They were the first choir to receive the Mayoral Perpetual Trophy at the Sligo Choral Festival as the most promising choir of the Festival.
They have been National Choir of the Year at the Cork Choral Festival and achieved first place in the festivals at Navan, Arklow and New Ross.
They have travelled abroad and received acclaim at the LLangollen, Eisteddfod and the Jersey Choral Festival. They were the first Irish Choir to achieve the Gold Level Award at the International Choral Festival in Verona.
